The Journey Begins

“When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably”.

I believe in Change. Change in my own country. Like France, my always-developing nation will become a developed one soon. If it is not in my life time, my successor will finish it off.

I’ve finally decided to wander all around India (Except TN & Kerala because I know each and every part of this places). The journey will start in late August or Early September either from Chennai or Delhi. Will come and meet you people on my travel way. Take care and please believe that our country is going to change.

I often questioned from my friends (mostly from foreign soils) about the change of my plans and join them in USA or Europe after my respectable MBA. My answer is simple. Whether i finish my MBA or not, I’ll end up in Politics. I burnt all my boats and i have no other alternatives other than politics.

Of course, this is a reference to explorer Hernan Cortez. In the early 1500’s he set sail for Mexico with an army of 600 men. To keep the men from retreating he gave the order to burn the boats. They actually just beached the boats but the idea was that they had to be successful or they would have no way to get back to their homeland of Cuba.

So like Cortez, we need to burn our boats in terms of situations that are not helping us achieve our goals. I just want to live as an example of this story. As i already said it in my Harvard Interview, I, is my own role-model of my life, I’ll make my path in my own set of way with the help of people. This may sound funny/illogical/childish depends on the person but I don’t damn care about others.

I agreed that it’s not an easy task and it will take ages to get the maturity to be on the top of the politics ladder. I have patience and skills so that I’ll learn all these things in my life. Every 1000 miles start in a single step. If 1000 people come and destroy my country politics then 10000 people will come and save it. All they need is a guide; a proper guide.

It is not very difficult to convince my parents since they have complete trust on me and I save that trust till date. (I have one bitter experience with this trust and I’ll explain it later some other time) They gave me 100% freedom and I can do whatever I want in my life. And I think I’m lucky to have such an understanding parents.

From my friend’s side, its mixture of both. Couple of my well-wishers knows my capability and wants to be an entrepreneur instead of Politician. But they backed me up whenever the time comes. They don’t want to see me to live in uncomfortable lifestyle – a guy who has a capability to get into Harvard is not going to live in slums and mingle with people of that status.

I believe in humanity. Though I’m an atheist, I was brought as a Moslem. All my childhood days are filled with love and love. In Madarsha, all i get was how to treat people. They don’t train me as a terrorist like media says. I love Islam and Islam teaches me Humanity and love to my beloved people. Its all in my genes.

I can very well be a businessman and make myself completely busy. Though i move to everyone as ease, business is not my ball of game. There are lot of entrepreneurs but very few leaders. I just want to be a leader of my calibre and try to help people to improve their status in life.

My motto is simple. I want India as a developed country, which means a country fulfil all needs of their people. Yes, I’m much focused on needs but not want. And i will succeed. In my coin there are no two sides.

I composed this post because one of my friend (Ronak) asking me to do it. I need a hell lot of support from you people and without YOU I’m nothing. We will make the change this country badly needs. As Obama said, Together We Can. Jiahind.

Fuck

Perhaps one of the most interesting words in the English language today, is the word fuck. Out of all the English words that begin with the letter ‘f’ …fuck is the only word referred to as ‘the f word… It’s the one magical word. Just by its sound can describe pain, pleasure, hate and love. Fuck, as most words in the English language is derived from German …the word fuieken, which means to strike.

In English, fuck falls into many grammatical categories:
As a transitive verb for instance.. John fucked Shirley.
As an intransitive verb… Shirley fucks.

Its meaning is not always sexual, it can be used as…
An adjective such as… John’s doing all the fucking work.
As part of an adverb… Shirley talks too fucking much.
As an adverb enhancing an adjective… Shirley is fucking beautiful.
As a noun… I don’t give a fuck.
As part of a word… absofuckinglutely -or- infuckingcredible.

And as almost every word in a sentence… Fuck the fucking fuckers.

As you must realize, there aren’t too many words with the versatility of fuck…such as these examples describing situations such as:

Fraud: I got fucked at the used car lot.

Dismay: ahhh fuck it.

Trouble: I guess I’m really fucked now.

Aggression: Don’t fuck with me buddy.

Difficulty: I don’t understand this fucking question.

Inquiry: Who the fuck was that?

Dissatisfaction: I don’t like what the fuck is going on here.

Incompetence: He’s a fuck-off.

Dismissal: Why don’t you go outside and play hide and go fuck yourself…

I’m sure you can think of many more examples.

With all these multi-purpose applications, how can anyone be offended

when you use the word. We say use this unique, flexible word more often in your daily speech.

It will identify the quality of your character immediately.

Say it loudly and proudly: FUCK YOU!

Who is the Boss?

All the characters in this story are fictitious and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.

One fine day, all our body parts gather for a meeting. The agenda is who wants to be the BOSS of our entire body system. Once every parts assemble, the meeting starts.

Head: See, as the name implies, i’m the head of the body. So i’m the right person to become a boss.

Brain: No. We agreed that you are a head but i’m the main person to contol each and every activity of the body. So i’m the perfect candidate for Boss’s position.

Like above, eyes, nose, lungs, heart, hands, legs and every parts pointed out their advantages and express their feelings towards the Boss position.

Finally, the asshole starts speaking. It never points out any of the advantages but asshole wants to be the boss of the body. Each and every parts started laughing. Some of them are roll on the ground and laughs and tease asshole to the core.

The outraged asshole got tensed and stop decided to stop functioning. The next day is not to be a big problem for the rest of the parts but the subsequent day, every body parts feel the heat of the asshole bandh. Each and every parts loss their concentration and cannot do anything.

Finally every parts fall on the feet of asshole and agreed that asshole is their boss. At the end of this story asshole becomes boss and control the entire body.

Moral of the Story: There is no extra talent require to become a boss; any ASSHOLE can do.

The above phrase is applicable to almost all the countries in the world. Hmm.. But we are living in Incredible India. So obviously we need to change the above phrase like, “The country is full of interested players and we need a real good coaches.

Have you ever heard the name “Thokchom Nanao” and “M C Mary Kom”? Dont guess; they are Indian names and these names make India proud in the international arena in Boxing. Nanao has won Gold medal at the AIBA(Internatioanl Boxing Association Amateur) Youth World Boxing Championships and Mary Kom (46kg) re-asserted her status as the world’s most successful woman boxer clinching an unprecedented fourth successive gold medal but India failed to retain the team crown at the 5th AIBA Women’s World Championships.

Have anyone (or most of us) knows about our Rugby team (stop, before proceeding further, do we know that India has a Rugby team???) won the Under19 World Cup happend in South Africa last year? And the Under19 people are mostly from Mizoram. Do we know where Mizoram is?

Siana Nehwal. A sparkling sports personality who breaks and enters into the top 5 Badminton players in the world(Currently ranked 7). But is she get her due in India? Media is refused to focus on her becasue she is not showing her boobs and thighs as Sania Mirza did (after tennis match too).

We have a mediocre, indeed very mediocre Naraine karthikeyan who never finished his laps (now its better) in any of the season and celebrate him. Is it because we dont have any other option???

We never celebrate Vishwanathan Ananth whether he is World Number one or two. We never consider all these people as a hero.

In India, we have one football(!) team. The captain of the team is little less known because of the Bollywood Reality shows. India never ever enter into any of the World Cup Football games. The maximum feat is to achieve the fourth round of the Prelims. No assholes can burnt any of their houses.

Why the fuck then one nation is obsessed with one fucking game called Cricket? There are 168 major Countries and football is practised by almost all the countries, Tennis is followed by majority of the country, Chess is the unshakable master game which every country want to win with. Only 12 (now at the max 20) countries palyed this game and an entire nation of 110 Crore is revolving their life around it.

We dont damn care about Jeev Milka Singh. Most of us dont want to know that also. A potential Golfer and high in ranking would not celebrate in his own country. We dont celebrate Paes who get the French Open title this year.

All our ass glued whenever and wherever these fucking Cricket comes into the picture. If India wins, over celebrate; if it loose, over burnt. What a fucking culture is this? And these media fuckers would focus on it and creates an unnecessary hype. They dont have any other thing other than to focus their camera on Crickets buts. Shameless fuckers.

In Facebook, people posted their embarassment, frustration about the loss and wants to show their patriotism. What the hell. There are hell lot of games need attention. A country which is 1/6th of India bags 20 gold medal in Olympics and India sit and see all this things without any shame. People dont show off their patriotism at that time.

And i dont understand about media too. In Msn.com, you can see the column called “Cricket&Sports”. Isnt it funny?? For me its fuckingly funny. They consider Crickets as god of sports till the fools in India believes that.

If the remaining sports get the supoort of Cricket – no need- 1/100 th support of cricket, then we will create magic. We need to nurture the talents. They need attention and focus; especially support.

I know lot of genius people would argue about the advantages of playing cricket. My point is simple. Whether you watch it Cricket or not, please support other sports too. I feel disheartening to see my India will get only 5 medals in Olympics whereas my neighbour tops in the chart. Jaihind

Punch Mame Punchu

Now a days, i can very well say that Bollywood Cinema is much ahead of any of the regional Cinemas. After watching Dev D, I can defend my statement strongly. In Tamil, of course couple of good movies are coming in a regular interval but the Hero worship spoils the sport. Here some of the famous Punch Dialogues used by the so-called superstars from the sullan-stars in Tamil Film Industry. Please update the remaining film industry’s (Like Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and of course in Hindi too) punches.

1. Kanna, naan eppo varuvaen eppadi varuvaen nu yaarukkum theriyathu. Aana vara vendiya nerathula correct a varuvaen (Dear, Nobody knows that when and where i will come. But i’ll come on correct time when needed)
This was from Rajnikanth and he indirectly points out his political venture and fools his fans and the people as well. Still his fans believe that he will come into politics. He he.

2. Oru thadava mudivu pannita en pecha naane ketka mataen. (If i decide then i will not even listen my own voice on that)
This is from none other than the so called Next Superstar (Keragam) of Tamil Film Industry(Onnayae thanga mudiyala).

When talking about Ajith, i remember one incident during my school days when we went and watch his mokkai movie called CITIZEN. In the movie, he used to say “Naan Thani aalu illa” (I’m not a alone man).. i got irritated and shout in the theatre like “Neeyellam oru aalae illa da” (You are not even a man first). Then we had a nice fight with his so called fans

Mr.Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827)

After writing about Ramanujan and got acclaimed receptions, I planned to write about some famous personality’s life history in a short and simple manner. So I am starting this with my all time favorite, the master of Western Classical Music, Mr. Ludwig van Beethoven.

If you like music, you love Beethoven. Sometimes I wonder hearing his music. I love to hear his composing in my lonely time. Experiencing his notes in the time of raining along with a cup of tea is nothing but close to heaven. It’s my great pleasure to write about this greatest composer who ever lived.

Not only Malcolm McDowell (In a movie “A Clockwork Orange”) but the whole world obsessed with Beethoven’s music. Born in Germany (Cologne) and nurtured in Austria, this virtuoso pianist never failed to impress the whole world with music even though after he completely deaf.

This most respected and influential composer of all time’s birth date is not known for certain, his family celebrated this only survivor of three out of seven children’s birth day on December 16.

Like most geniuses, Ludwig’s supremacy symptoms appeared in his eighth age. In 1778, he was studying Organ (a keyboard instrument) & viola (like violin but larger in size and more variable in its proportions) in addition to the piano.(Ohmigod). His most important teacher in Bonn (his birth place) Christian Gottlob Neefe helped him publish his first composition: a set of keyboard variations.

In 1787, the young Beethoven traveled to Vienna for the first time, in hopes of studying with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is not clear whether he succeeded in meeting Mozart, or if he did whether Mozart was willing to accept him as a pupil. In any event, the declining health of Beethoven’s mother, dying of tuberculosis, forced him to return home after only about two weeks in Vienna. Beethoven’s mother died on July 17, 1787, when Beethoven was 16. (WIKI)

At the age of 22, he moved to Vienna, Austria and he established a reputation as a Piano virtuoso after a year. His first works with opus numbers, a set of three piano trios, appeared at his age of 25.

Around his age of 26, the maestro began to lose his hearings because of tinnitus make his conversation less to anyone. He can’t even hear the tumultuous applause from the audience at the end of the premiere of his NINTH SYMPHONY (Choral Symphony, no.9 in d Minor,), his most famous composing ever. (If you feel depressed some times, I strongly recommend you to hear this. I bet the depression will go far away.)

By the age of 34 Beethoven was totally deaf, and when visitors saw him play a loud arpeggio or thundering bass notes at his piano remarking, “Ist es nicht schön?” (Isn’t that beautiful?), they felt deep sympathy, and saw his courage and sense of humor. And he wrote letters to his brothers regarding his inability to hear is documented as “Heiligenstadt Testament”, a very useful documentation to know about Beethoven’s work.

As a result of Beethoven’s hearing loss, a unique historical record has been preserved: his conversation books. His friends wrote in the book so that he could know what they were saying, and he then responded either verbally or in the book. The books contain discussions about music and other issues, and give insights into his thinking; they are a source for investigation into how he felt his music should be performed, and also his perception of his relationship to art. Unfortunately, two hundred and sixty four out of a total of four hundred conversation books were destroyed (and others were altered) after Beethoven’s death by Anton Schindler, in his attempt to paint an idealized picture of the composer. I never mentioned about his personal life until now and I am not going to be either. But need to tell one thing. Beethoven never married, although he was engaged to Giulietta Guiccardi. At his age of 32, Beethoven wrote a long love letter to a woman he identified only as “Immortal Beloved”. Several candidates have been suggested, including Antonie Brentano, but the identity of the woman to whom the letter was written has never been proven.

He suffered from poverty in his last days. He is famous but this period is still characterized by his lack of funds, much because his former patrons no longer could support him. Maybe the lifelong poverty is a reason for his deteriorating health and his death on March 26 1827.

The funeral rites took place at the church of the Holy Trinity. It is estimated that between 10 000 and 30 000 people attended. Franz Schubert, timid and a huge admirer of Beethoven, without ever having become close to him, was one of the coffin bearers, along with other musicians. Schubert died the next year and was buried next to Beethoven.

Ludwig had become a public figure, as no composer had done before. Unlike composers of the preceding generation, he had never been a purveyor of music to the nobility he had lived into the age – indeed helped create it – of the artist as hero and the property of mankind at large.

His works are like miracles. He composed in various genres: Symphonies, Concerti, Piano & Other Sonatas (including Violin), String quartets, opera & lieder. He is viewed as one of the most important transitional figures between the Classical and Romantic eras of musical history.

Many people come and go in each and every field but very few live. People like Beethoven are enlightening the world with their supreme talents. Though he passed away more than 18o years ago, he still lives with us by his music. Whenever i hear it, I feel talking to Ludwig. Like his musical taste, his character is also genuine. I finish this document with his saying:

“Off with you! You’re a happy fellow, for you’ll give happiness and joy to many other people. There is nothing better or greater than that!”

Like Beethoven said, we live happy and make others happy with whatever we have in our inner-self and talent.
